Volcom is simply the best  known extreme sports clothing available in the fashion market today.  They are progressive brand that have their own sense of style.  The Volcom clothing range features a mix of large graphic designs and simple logo based clothing designs.  Volcom clothing are probably best described as a streetwear clothing label.  They are well known for their surf wear with clothes such as t-shirts, beach shorts and Volcom Creedlers but this is just the tip of the iceberg.

The Volcom range consists of a lot more than just surf wear.  The Volcom Stone range of fitted suits are well known for their high quality and stylish design innovations.  The suits are the same as your average suit but they have unique features.  A lot of the shirts and suits feature interesting stitching often running diagonally rather than horizontally.  While the outside of the suit is similar to any other but the inside is typically very different.  They consist of fancy designs that use the Volcom logo in some innovative ways.  They also put the Volcom emblem in places you wouldn’t normally expect to see them, such as the knee of a trouser leg.

Although Volcom are considered a surf wear label, they are more of a streetwear clothing label.  They use many of the same creative techniques that street artists use.  This is why you often find that their clothes have graffiti designs that seem like they have been sprayed straight on to the shirt with a can of paint.  Not only this they also make clothing specifically designed for snow boarding.  This is not surprising because the idea of the brand came about whilst the two founders were on a snowboarding trip.  They make a range of snowboarding jackets and trousers as well as accessories like goggles and ski lift pass holders.
