Fruit and Vegetable Diet

Well I have to say I was downright skeptical when I first heard about the fruit and vegetable diet.

I had read that you actually get to eat delicious food and lose weight fast without starving. Hey, enjoying my food and not being hungry has never been part of any diet I have been on.

And then there is the part about the fruit and vegetable diet being very healthy for you – not just sort of healthy – SUPER healthy.

I learned that when you put so many fruits and vegetables into your body you are just flooding your body with nutritious enzymes that rebuild and rejuvenate your body’s systems. Sounds good, right?

So I went for it. I decided that I could do ANYTHING for 14 days. I told myself that 14 days will fly by. And that if this fruit and vegetable diet really worked I would feel healthier and lose a bunch of weight too – what a deal!  

And even if it did not work, I would at least get a lot of nutrition for 14 days and that could not hurt right?

Well I went for it – and yes, the first few days took some getting used to because I was eating differently than my typical diet.

But I have to tell you the weight started dropping off so fast that it totally motivated me to stick with the fruit and vegetable diet all the way through to the end of 14 days. What were my final results? I lost 13 pounds in 14 days with this fruit and vegetable diet!
