The Xbox 360 is Microsoft’s answer to the console game system craze.  Of course, it wouldn’t be Microsoft if they didn’t offer more than one type of system and the entry-level model is the XBox 360 Arcade version.   While it only comes with 4 or 5 basic arcade games the unit is capable of playing all XBox 360 games.  The memory on this one is fairly low at 256MB but it does come with a wireless controller.  This is the base model and allows you to get in cheap and then add accessories as you can afford them.

The next step up is the XBox 360 Console.  The extra $100 you’ll spend here gets you significantly more storage, the standard wireless controller and a wireless headset as well.  In additional to being backwards compatible for the older games this model also includes an HD output.

If you’re willing ot spare no expense then have a look at the XBox 360 Elite.  You should never run out of storage space thanks to the 120GB hard drive.  It has a very cool black finish that makes it stand out from the other units.  Other included options are a black wireless controller, a black wireless headset and an HD output.

The pricing on the Xbox 360 can be somewhat expensive if you buy them from a retailer.  If you went to someplace like Best Buy to purchase these, they would be around $200 for the Xbox 360  Arcade, about $300 for the Xbox 360 Console and at least $400 if you were to get the ultimate Xbox 360 Elite.
