New Paint Brush Design Cause Less Forearm Strain

When we’re young, taking out our paint tools and painting the bedroom, garage, or house is not a big deal. It takes some time, but we just resign ourselves to it and do it.

As we get older, however, arthritis and other “old-timer” illnesses begin to catch up with us. It’s usually around this time that we start to look for “cheats” to help us.

Luckily, however, some businesses are producing painting brushes and supplies to help us out. Many of their product lines now include tools such as ergonomic paint brushes. But they are actually creating products that make it easy to do all sorts of things. For example, just last year, one company came out with a no tape “Edge-n-Roll” tool.

Usually, before you begin painting a room, you take some painters or masking tape and tape off edges around windows, doors, and so on so that you don’t get paint on them. This nifty tool merges the tray and the tape masking feature into one. All you do is fill up the tray and start your painting.

And there is another corporation that makes ergonomic paint brushes. Why are these paint brushes so special? Because they were partially designed by with the aid of professional painters who do hundreds of hours of painting over the course of a year. It doesn’t matter if you’re left or right handed, they allow you to paint smooth strokes and for long periods of time with minimal discomfort.

The brushes were not only designed to reduce forearm fatigue, a common problem among painters. These brushes truly feel like an extension of the hand. It doesn’t matter whether you’re painting aluminum siding touchups or painting concrete floors and countertops, having ergonomic tools at your disposal is an advantage.

Every year the average age of the population continues to go up. Eventually, as the baby boomers take over the senior marketplace, it’s almost a sure thing that more and more companies will start to produce home improvement. products targeted towards seniors.
