These days, many persons are so busy with their work and hardly find any leisure time for themselves. Individuals work in corporate offices where they are required to sit for a long duration of hours and surprisingly are completely exhausted by the end of the day.

For such cases, if they are fortunate enough to locate some leisure time for themselves, most people will single out the option of catch up their sleep or just resting at home. But very few people will consider going for a jog or doing some physical activity in order to keep their body fit. In a way, it is justified as well. One of the simplest and most overlooked aspects of online marketing is that it’s not complicated. More precisely, there are a lot of “experts” who try to make it complicated. Aside from whatever motivation they might have to do that online profits happen as the result of one simple equation –

There are MANY ways to get traffic (visitors) to your site and get them to take some action or “convert,” which will either result in more leads or (less frequently) result directly in more sales to your business.

So here’s the other simple rule — you only need to master 1 or 2 traffic methods and 1 or 2 conversion methods, and you will make money. When you drive you only need to know two pedals, and you don’t need to know EVERYTHING about internet marketing in order to add revenue to your business.

With that in mind, there are a few basic traffic techniques I’ve implemented in some of my sites and client sites that have universally and consistently WORKED. Here are a few of those methods — but remember, you only need to pick one or two:

Traffic Generation

1) Twitter — highly effective for targeting your niche and developing the conversation with your customers and prospects. In fact, it is second to none. However, most businesses don’t know how to use Twitter effectively. They spam with “sales tweets” — “Look at the cool new thing I’m selling.” The 80/20 rule is highly effective — 80% of your tweets should be about something interesting, funny or otherwise engaging… a question of the day like “What’s for lunch?”… anything to get people talking, laughing, thinking… Also, keep it consistent and be generous with re-tweets. A few tweets a day go a long way toward establishing a rabid list of followers. The wrong thing to do is to Tweet like a madman for a day or two and then disappear for a month. Or worse, don’t reply when someone direct messages you or @messages you. That’s like ignoring someone at a dinner party when they ask you to pass the gravy. You WON’T get any dessert.

2) Video marketing is a very fast way to rank your site and get lots of inbound traffic. Keep your videos consistent — don’t show up one day in a baseball cap and dark lighting, talking about the rain, and another day bouncing in a jungle gym screaming about business leads. Consistent message, consistent tone, consistent look & feel. Also, be sure to put a call to action in your video’s description, as well as the full URL of your website’s landing page, and use appropriate keywords.

3) Article marketing is an evergreen method for outstanding traffic generation, with one HUGE caveat — mix it up! Putting the same article on 400 article directories will get you nowhere fast. You will get a bump in traffic from all the inbound links until Google figures out they’re all the same article and basically count it as one link. There are content spinners out there that alter the content of your articles automatically, but you have to be very careful here as well. Most content spinners change a word or two to replace it with a synonym, or they mash up the article randomly so the output is basically junk that cannot be read. It has to pass human review. So if you’re looking for a quality content spinner, ideally you want to be able to change the entire sentence many times throughout the article, and then have it spin those into hundreds of different articles. That’s the professional way to do it. At the bottom of your article, have a call to action in the information field; a blurb about you (the author) and a link to a free guide the reader can pick up at your website.

Conversion

1) Keep it simple. The landing page has to do ONE thing — get people to ACT. For this reason, it’s been called a SINGLE ACTION PAGE. Pear it down to the bare essence of what you need the visitor to do. Consider placing a video on the page with a very simple message, “Hey thanks for stopping by for my free whizbang. Just type in your first name and e-mail address and I will rush it right over to you. In just a moment after you send your information, you’ll get an e-mail with a confirmation link. Click that link and I will instantly send your free whizbang.”

2) Direct, direct, direct. Notice the video script in #1 above — see how we instructed the user on exactly what they need to do? And then we told them what to expect next, and what they would then need to do. And we closed with a reminder of the benefit — the free whizbang.

If you have trademarked the term “whizbang,” then I apologize in advance.

3) Test, test, test. ALWAYS have two versions of your landing page operating at one time. You can optimize your landing page using freely available Google tools in the Web Optimizer toolbox. You really can’t go on “gut” here — the data will be you every single time. Even on PPC ads, we have literally seen the addition of a question mark in the ad increase conversion by 16.8% So test, test, test.

Conclusion

These methods work on any business in any industry. Here is some social proof –

Local landscape designer increased her traffic by 7,342% (yes seven thousand percent)

 

• Local artist went from three visitors a day to an average of 41 visitors a day

I hope this helps your business. The average business fails to do what it takes to drive traffic or achieve conversions to their website. Do-it-for-you solutions are also available; experience guides the appropriate strategy for the website and market. The biggest challenge business owners face is knowing which strategy to implement. Experimentation can be very costly in terms of time and lost sales… The key is to find a reputable marketing firm that offers a full range of customized services as well as downloadable products and courses to assist every website owner at every budget level.

When growing a vegetable garden the most important aspect is the seed growth. Once seeds have germinated, other problems may occur. Damping off is where the seedlings rapidly wilt and fall over. There are four genera’s of fungi that have been shown to cause this. They are: Pythium, Fusarium, Phytophthora, and Rhizoctonia. If seedlings are infected apply specific fungicide or replant seeds in a sterilized potting medium. The best way to prevent this is to start with sterile potting medium and sterile containers. These are just a few of the home gardening tips that are popular.

Wilting may be caused by lack of water, lack of nitrogen or too much water. Add water to the potting mix if water is lacking. If there is too much water, allow the pots to dry out before re-watering. If water content is fine, add a dilute solution of a nitrogen based fertilizer to the pot. Yellow leaves are a sign of either too much water or too little nutrients. If too much water allow the pot to dry out before re-watering. If you do this it will become similar to a dazzling diamond in the rough as it will never grow.

If moisture content is fine, add a dilute solution of plant food containing a wide range of nutrients. Long spindly growth is a sign of not enough light. Move the seedling to brighter location or supplement light with a growth lamp. Mottled or speckled leaves are a sign of severe micronutrient deficiency. It may be cause by a lack of micronutrients in the potting mix or high pH water. Add a dilute concentration of a plant food containing a wide range of essential plant nutrients. If the water has high pH, using rainwater will help.

Many micronutrients become unavailable at pHs above 7.0. Seeds going into shock after transplanting outdoors are caused lack of hardening off. To prevent move un-transplanted seedlings gradually outdoors on cool but not cold days. Bring seedlings back indoors or into a sheltered cool environment if temperatures drop significantly. If seedlings are already planted, cover them with some type of light protection until temperatures warm up again. It is amazing though that processed hemp clothing bears no adverse reactions to sunlight over extended periods.

There are many ways to show off and present photos. Having your photos on canvas is an original way of showcasing a favourite photo. Unlike traditional methods of displaying a photograph, canvas prints offer a bold, contemporary alternative. Due to the chunky gallery frames used, the finished canvas creates a real statement when hung on a wall. It stands out and is very eye catching.

The thing about a squeeze page, though, is that attractive ones are hard to design. And if you’ve not naturally talented in that direction, or you simply don’t have the time to spend hours designing and tweaking a squeeze page, you might just want to consider buying a ready made squeeze template. What’s a squeeze template? Well it’s a ready made design that - usually - can be used on may different kinds of sites very easily, or with minimal work.

Squeeze page templates are a very fast way to give some professionalism to your site. When a visitor lands on your squeeze page, they’ll get a solid, professional impression of your site. That’s important for giving them a good experience and the confidence to trust you with their personal details. If you follow that up by giving them valuable information, you’re almost home and dry!

Don’t just stop at a simple squeeze page though. Nowadays you can get templates that contain audio to encourage your visitors even more. Let’s be honest, we’re all more easily persuaded by word of mouth than very commercial advertising. What better than literal word of mouth then? You can use general messages that encourage your visitors to download your free report, or you can customize messages to be very specific and closely targeted to what your visitors are looking for.

If you do buy templates with audio, remember to make sure that you’re also getting the code to add an audio player to the squeeze page. If you don’t, you’ll find you have a lot of work to add one.

Cattails are a frequent occurrence in many North American settings, particularly occurring in or around ponds, and at first appearing fairly harmless. Initially you may see one of these plants and think nothing of it. You might just believe the same thing the next day, and the day after that, and maybe many days following that, till that definitive day you look outside, and the whole pond has been taken over to a point where you require an air-boat to get through it as if you were situated in the everglades.

So, now that you’ve been overrun by the cunning army of the cattail, what kind of counterattack can you mount? Will you rally the troops and go in with guns (or pesticides) firing at will? Or will you opt guerrilla tactics? That is totally for you to decide, because no matter which technique you choose, those plants aren’t sentient, so they will not see you coming, indicating that you will always have the element of surprise. This also means that you could likely take off that camouflage and take the paint off of your face.  The binoculars and the gas mask probably will not be required either.

The options at your disposal are not few for cattail removal, and naturally, since that pond belongs to you (unless for an unknown purpose you’ve decided to do battle with the next door neighbor’s pond), you are welcome to choose any of these methods:

Physical Removal – You are naturally, free to attempt pulling the cattails yourself. But if you do this, attempt to pull them when they’re young, lest they take strong roots and become extremely difficult to pull. That would also become a huge chore, since by the time you start pulling them, odds are they have already taken over your pond, and there will be a ton of them.

Cutting – You may chop down the cattails, but keeping mind that it’s smart to cut them somewhere around an inch under the water line so you’ll starve them of oxygen and kill them.

Lowering the Water Line – Cattails, like any other living creature, need water in order to live. Through lowering the water line, and making sure those plants don’t get everything that they require, you will find that they expire rather quickly, that is unless they have already spread seeds, in which case you will have to do this all over again the following year. If you have no issue with lowering and raising the water line of the pond every year, then this would be a realistic option for you.

Pesticides – A final decision, because pesticides can hurt the organic life within the pond, which sort of defeats the reason for owning the pond. Regardless, you may continue purchase any pesticides which you need from both stores, or online. Simply remember the dangers.

Remember this, you may think cattails are a major problem and you have to eradicate each and every of them, but know that cattails serve to prevent erosion, and that’s definitely a good thing. So try to leave at the very least a few cattails standing, since every creature (wasps not included) serve a purpose, even though the reason is not known.
